Originally, stemming from Bulgaria, when I was 19 I moved to the USA to study Political Science and Economics at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. I live in Vienna since 5 years and communicated in both English and German.
Experience
I started studying English when I was 12 and have not stopped using the language in all sorts of different contexts - from high school, passing SATs/TOEFL, getting a university degree and writing extensively in English, as well as working on a daily basis with it. As an English tutor, I can help kids not only understand what they learn at school, but take it one step further - into real life and how it applies to their daily activities. Being able to comfortably hold a daily conversation, as well as interviewing in English for scholarships, internships, etc. is just as valuable as a large vocabulary and understanding the grammar!
